Our first Or Zarua Purim 2018, at the beautiful home of Kathy and Jeff Hirsh-Pasek, was meaningful and joyful in every way!
We are so grateful to all of you - to our gracious hosts, Kathy and Jeff, to all of you who attended (more than 60 attendees), to all who set up, dressed up, decorated, shared food, chanted Megillah, wrote and acted in our Purim spiel, provided circus entertainment, told jokes, played music, created original Purim tunes, and cleaned up!
Our first Or Zarua Purim was a joy - fun, food, Tzedakah, political commentary, all from our homegrown Or Zarua talent!

"I loved sharing Purim with Or Zarua! The experiential way we celebrated made me appreciate the meaning of the Mitzvot of Purim first hand. Our sharing of food, our sharing of merriment, the reading of the megillah along with Vashti (Cyd Weissman's) modern day rendition of championing of the rights of women, and the collection of donations for those in need - all those made for a memorable celebration. All was done with a touch or care, beauty of color and symbols, and with much warmth of the sharing of a community. "
